Zera Fila
Zera Fila was created to reduce the wait for surgeries in Amapá and give time and hope back to those who were waiting.
How it began
One clear goal: reduce the wait for surgeries across the state.
Zera Fila is an initiative of the Government of the State of Amapá, managed by the Capuchin Friars in partnership with Saúde Link. Launched in December 2024 at Hospital de Clínicas Dr. Alberto Lima (HCAL) in Macapá, the program was born with one clear goal: to reduce the wait for surgeries across the state.

The problem and the goal
Every name on a waiting list is someone putting their life on hold.
Work, family, a routine without pain. Zera Fila exists to shorten that wait, expand access and transform the experience of those who depend on public healthcare.
Impact
Changes you can see in HCAL's daily routine.
The program brought structural improvements, renovated spaces, modernized processes, faster workflows and increasingly humanized care. Behind every surgery is a person who could go back to work, to walking, to caring for the people they love.

Our commitment
Zera Fila keeps moving forward.
More than cutting waiting times, it is the chance to care better for every person in Amapá, with health, dignity and well-being.
