A unit dedicated to respiratory syndromes and suspected dengue, set up in Piracicaba (SP) to provide fast care and relieve the city's emergency units.

From reception to discharge in about 30 minutes.
With the change of season and the risk of a surge in flu, COVID-19 and dengue cases, Piracicaba needed to treat mild symptoms without overcrowding its emergency units. Saúde Link set up UPA +Livre at the Tiro de Guerra sports court, in the Morumbi district: a modular facility with a waiting room, reception, triage, three medical offices, rapid tests and lab sample collection, hydration and medication. Open seven days a week from 7 am to 6 pm, the unit saw 729 people in its first week, an average of 92 a day, with capacity for up to 250.
